Aluminum first became integral to Jen's career during her early work on boutique spas and hotels in Asia. As a creative professional navigating subtropical climates, she grappled with the need for materials that could withstand the harsh environment. Turning to aluminum, Jen discovered its remarkable resilience, repeatedly proving itself as an indestructible medium ideally suited for both artwork and design.

Rather than merely serving as a base, the substrate becomes an integral element of the artwork itself. The pieces can be printed on matt or brushed silver aluminum, leveraging the textural richness of the substrate to imbue the artwork with a subtle shimmer when illuminated by light. This interplay of light and surface instills a dynamic sense of movement in the artwork, evolving throughout the day.
