e360 Design’s artworks are designed to incorporate the substrate into the overall vision of the artwork. In this way, the substrate becomes a feature of the artwork, not something the artwork simply sits on. This work is printed onto a substrate of acrylic panel. The transparency offered by using acrylic panel provides an opportunity to cultivate interesting shadows and light play as the sunlight changes throughout the day. Intentional lighting placement can also add to the shadow effects offering bold additional texture & depth to these pieces. It is also possible to create a lightbox effect with opaque acrylic works.
Artworks on acrylic panel are deceptively lightweight for their size and as such, they are able to be hung without the use of specialised gallery hanging systems. They are also weather resistant, making them suitable for outdoor living/dining locations, spa areas and similarly humid environments. (Custom oak framed artworks require a marine varnish on the frame in order to hang outdoors)
