In this way, the substrate becomes a feature of the artwork, not something the artwork simply sits on. This work is printed onto a substrate of brushed silver aluminium. The textural quality of this substrate gives a warm natural feeling.
Artworks on ply are deceptively light weight and as such, they are able to be hung without the use of specialised gallery hanging systems.
